What We Do
We’re a nonpartisan high-impact group of students empowering young Americans to defend our democracy.
We achieve this through targeted initiatives and education campaigns about emerging threats to democracy and voting rights. Our approach integrates policy research, community advocacy, and coalition-building to deliver on the promise of a truly inclusive American democracy.

Helping Americans Believe Again in Democracy!
The Task Force has three fundamental functions: researching democracy issues, community organizing, and establishing strategic alliances with other pro-democracy organizations (to optimize resources in pursuit of common objectives).
Advocacy
Researching issues relating to our national initiatives and educating the public about them
Organizing
Speaking with people, conducting polls and petitions, and holding public events and town hall meetings
Coalition-Building
Forming strategic alliances with other nonprofits to work towards our shared goals
We want to live on a healthy, peaceful planet. A planet where forests flourish, oceans are full of life and where animals safely roam. Where our quality of life is measured in relationships, not things we have or own.
Our Leadership
Our leaders are volunteers who envision and work towards our goal of increased representation for students and the public. Our Divisions work towards planning our initiatives and our Senior Cabinet transforms our objectives into action.

Task Force USA and the Task Force for Democracy
Our sister organizations work together to strengthen American democracy. Task Force USA is our 501(c)(4) which focuses on policy advocacy and supports both local and national voting rights/democracy advancements. Donations to Task Force USA are not tax-deductible. The Task Force for Democracy is our 501(c)(3) which focuses on nonpartisan civic engagement, research, and education campaigns. Make a tax-deductible donation today!
